On July 29, 2005
members of the Alexandria Lions Club traveled to the Louisiana Lions
Children's Camp near Leesville, LA for closing ceremonies of this
week's camp. We enjoyed sandwiches and refreshments before the
closing ceremonies began. The procession of counselors and campers
was led to the campfire area by a bagpiper, as Lions and guests
gathered in bleachers and chairs. At the campfire, Alexandria Lions
Club President
Tom Gallagher presented five of the counselors with scholarships to
express our appreciation of their work. |
